Fortress D2L is the name we have given this game as the idea of using a fortress and joining it up with a Learning Management System worked together well when you have a look at the classical building which is called Heritage Hall. The game is created around the player attempting to get into the building, going through a number of D2L test questions and general use questions for D2L. Along the way, the player is subjected to various maze like hallways and esoteric music from time to time. Eventually, the player can make it to the Inner Sanctum and help to bring the tests back on line by completing the final survey. The player also has the option to actually login to a real D2L course and learn more about tests and the Learning Management System. There are two other paths which the player can take to get to the goal if s/he is unable or unwilling to proceed on the main maze path.
